James joined TCMG in April 2020
… in the midst of Covid-19 as the new Marketing Manager for Tourism Western Australia here in the German speaking European markets.
James, a Sydney-sider, moved to Germany four years ago after having completed his Masters degree in International Relations. Prior to moving to Europe, James worked as an Account Manager for Australian Traveller Magazine, working with clients such as Hamilton Island, Spicers Retreats, Voyages, Delaware North, Tourism and Events Queensland, Tourism Western Australia and providing him with a good overview of the Australian tourism industry.
In addition to Germany, James has also lived and worked in Vienna, undertaking internships at the Australian Embassy and UN Office of Drugs and Crime.
James’s ideal travel destination is anywhere he can indulge in his passion for hiking and the outdoors... and craft beer.
