Tanja Brunnhuber 

Tanja joined Team TCMG with valuable experience in tourism marketing and is our Account Director for Tourism Western Australia in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. She previously worked for the Finnish Tourism Board as marketing manager for the German-speaking countries. Prior to promoting Finland, Tanja was with Tourism Australia and looked after trade marketing activities in the German-speaking countries.

Tanja began her career in tourism in 1993 as a travel agent specializing in around-the-world-trips, and carried out her studies in Tourism Geography at the University of Trier a couple of years later. During her studies, she acted as a tour guide on bicycle trips in Burgundy and Southern Tyrol.

Tanja has visited Australia several times, mostly Western Australia, which she has enjoyed exploring with a 4WD.

In her spare time, Tanja loves to explore the nearby Bavarian mountains and enjoys outdoor sports. She is an enthusiastic mountain biker, skier and a passionate beach volleyball player.

In addition to sports, Tanja is member of a local band where she plays the hackbrett (a hammered dulcimer) in Bavarian and other music styles.
