German-born Christiane Empter Zanotti is responsible for the National Opal Collection, Castaways Resort & Spa, Meridian and Cayman Villas in Port Douglas accounts at TCMG. Christiane, who speaks fluent Italian and has a basic knowledge of French and Spanish, joined the team after six years of highly successful event management and tourism marketing for a range of clients, including TTNQ Roadshows with TCMG.

Christiane has an excellent knowledge of Australian travel product and was previously a regional sales and promotional manager for Tourism Queensland, looking after Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and other central European countries. She has also worked in reservations management for a German tour company. 

Christiane, who is married with two children, has degrees in tourism and economics. She runs a lecture series on destination marketing together with TCMG CEO Rhett Lego at several universities and academies in Germany.

When not promoting tourism her interests include mountaineering, inline skating, skiing and cycling.
